What level of security do you want for your website?
Unreliable website
If there is no SSL Certificate installed on the website, the configured connection protocol is just HTTP, with weaker security than HTTPS.
There is no secure connection icon on the left of the website address. Instead, the message "not secure" appears.
Very reliable website
If there is an SSL Certificate (DV, OV or EV) installed on the website, the connection protocol is HTTPS and the secure connection incon appears in the browser navigation bar.
With an EV SSL Certificate, you will be able to find the company name, which makes the website appear reliable and brings benefits in terms of brand and image.
